Arctic Monkeys, one of the best contemporary British rock-bands, will hold their first ever Croatian concert on July 7th at Prokurative in Split. Although founded in 2002, the band has gained global popularity as well as won numerous awards in a relatively short time. With their first single, “I Bet You Look on the Dance-Floor”, the band reached the top of the UK Singles Chart, while their first album, “Whatever People Say I am, that’s what I am not”, released in 2006, was the fastest selling debut album in the history of British music. A year later, Arctic Monkeys released their second album, “Favorite Worst Nightmare”, which sold over 225,000 copies in just one week. So far, Arctic Monkeys have won a total of ten NME’s and five BRIT Awards, as well as one Mercury Award and one Ivor Novello Award.

Tickets for the Arctic Monkeys concert can be purchased at a price of 150 kuna until June 25th. Beyond that date, the price will be 200 kuna.
